This May (2023), there will be a G7 summit here in Hiroshima, and the city will be on high alert and in the national spotlight.
The Corona disaster has somehow calmed down, and I am sure that many people will be traveling to Hiroshima in the future.
One thing I would like to recommend to those who come to Hiroshima is to try oysters. I personally love oysters and eat them often.
However, oysters are basically for winter, and even in my hometown of Hiroshima, the number of restaurants where you can eat them gradually decreases around Golden Week.
However, there are, of course, some places where you can still enjoy oysters!
Therefore, in this article, we have selected eight restaurants in Hiroshima where you can eat many oysters even after Golden Week.
Each restaurant has its own special features, such as all-you-can-eat grilled oysters, buffet-style restaurants, and restaurants where you can eat even late at night, so please go home and enjoy delicious Hiroshima oysters at the restaurant that suits you best!
[Attention.

[Oyster Boat]
Near the A-bomb Dome on the Motoyasu River, which runs through the center of Hiroshima, there were two restaurants called “oyster boats” (“Kana” and “Hiroshima”), where you can float a boat on the river and eat oyster dishes in it.
It was a very nice place in terms of sightseeing, but because the boat drifted away during a typhoon, it was deemed “problematic” and “not permitted” to operate.
I think the restaurant made a lot of efforts in response. In 2014, “KANAWA” reopened in a slightly different location. However, “Hiroshima” is currently closed (although there is talk of reopening).
I once had dinner at Kanawa, and it was very nice with a nice river breeze and atmosphere.
Praying for the revival of “hiroshima,” we would like to introduce “kanawa” to you.
