A great feature on 6 stores where yukata can be rented in Hiroshima!

In summer in Hiroshima, there are many events to look forward to, such as the Yukata Festival and Tokasan in June, and summer festivals and Bon Odori dancing in August. I would love to wear a yukata to these summer events.

If you want to wear a yukata, but you don’t wear it many times a year, rentalis the way to go. It is fun to wear a variety of designs!

In this article, we have collected 5 stores that offer yukata rentals in Hiroshima City and Miyajima, and one store in Yamaguchi where you can rent a yukata online. Please take a look at them for your reference.

Please be sure to leave enough time for your request. If you do so at the last minute, you may not be able to find the yukata you are looking for or you may not be able to rent it. If you are planning to have a kimono dressing or hair-set included, you will need more time to make reservations for those as well. It is recommended to make your request at least two weeks in advance.

Some yukata dressing and hair-set services can be done at the store, while others require a separate fee. Some yukata can be checked on their websites, and some stores allow you to preview the actual yukata, so please consult with them.

Yukata specialty store, Fujisei Hondori, Kyoto

Fujisei is a yukata and graduation costume specialty store from Kyoto. They have a reputation for their large selection and inexpensive prices, and their professional dressers will carefully dress you.

Prices:
Yukata full set (yukata, obi, geta) rental … 2 days 1 night + 1 time dressing … 3,800 yen (tax included)
1 month long time rental … 6,800 yen (tax included) (You can leave the rental period as long as you like. Includes 2 free dressing tickets. Obi can be exchanged twice during the period. Geta will be given to you as a gift after the end of the tour)

Return: Within business hours of the next day for the 2-day/1-night course

Shining a way is a hair salon located on Nagaregawa-dori, Naka-ku. In addition to rental yukata, haircuts and makeup, lymphatic massage is also available.

After School Kimono Club is a store that offers rental kimonos, dressing, and dressing lesson classes.
