peace– tag –

On the night of August 6, lantern floating is held at Motoyasu River in Hiroshima City. I have researched the meaning and history of this event, and have written about my own thoughts on it, as well as my experience of going with a friend four years ago and floating lanterns. There is also a video I took at that time.

Hiroshima's "Orizuru Tower" is a building where you can view Peace Memorial Park from the observation deck and experience and feel various things about origami cranes and peace. I have compiled a list of opening hours and travel time, along with video and landscape photos I took.
